MS by 1853 and was in Smith Co in 1880 This deed places Isaac No. 1 in Greene County, Alabama in 1840, May 25 and he states "for the love of my son Jackson Edwards". I found a land deed where he was buying land in 1831 but he also has a land patent (No. 4127) in Greene Co. and I can not determine the date but the certificate was signed by Andrew Jackson. The date that Jackson signed it was May 30, 1833. It was for 80 and 1/100th acres of land. The deed of 1831 is for the West half of the South East quarter of Section 14, in Township 22, of Range 1 East. The Patent if for the East half of the SE quarter, etc. The deed of 1831 contained the same number of acres.

I know he was in Greene in 1821 as that is when he filed the petition for divorce from Rachael who was in Ga. and then he and Lydia married in 1823.      Annberry Drummond was born at Alabama, USA.² She lived at Polkville, Smith County, Mississippi, USA.³ Descended from James Drummond, first provincial governor of North Carolina?³ Annberry Drummond was also known as Jina Annberry.⁴ She was born in 1825 at Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA.⁵ She married Jackson J. Edwards, son of Isaac EDWARDS and Rachel Miller, circa 1840.⁴ Annberry Drummond married an unknown person circa 1840 at Eutaw, Greene County, Alabama, USA.⁴ As of circa 1840,her married name was Edwards.⁴ As of 1850, Annberry Drummond was also known as Jenney.⁶ She died in 1898 at Smith County, Mississippi, USA.⁴

Questions raised after studying the will:

1. Was Hannah Haite a relative, sister, cousin, etc. or someone hired to care for the children?

2. Was Joseph Edwards also a son or brother? By following how the estate was divided should give clue, if Joseph gets equal share, later or final settlement should give names of all children.² He died on 2 August 1809 at Franklin County, Georgia, USA.¹

     Susianne V. Bryant married John William Burkett, son of John Burkett. Susianne V. Bryant was born on 11 June 1841. She was buried in 1873 at Parkman Cemetery, Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi, USA.¹ She died on 21 March 1873 at age 31.
