This couple had five children: Martha Ann; Mary Elizabeth; Laura Emily; James W; & Alvin Grant MARTIN who where all born in Belmont Co, OH.¹

     George Washington White married Rebecca Ann Morris.¹ George Washington White was born on 11 November 1848 at Goshen Township, Belmont County, Ohio, USA.¹ He died on 15 September 1915 at age 66.¹

"From Goshen Monthly Meeting held the 10th of ye first mo. 1772. Whereas Jesse White hath been brought up under the Profession of Truth as owned by us the people called Quakers but for want of having a due regard to the dictates of truth which would have preserved him in peace he hath so far given way to a libertine Spirit as to fight another Man and Notwithstanding friends dealing with him he appears too unsensible of his transgression to Make satisfaction for his said Misconduct. Therefore for the clearing of our Profession we do hereby declare him the said Jesse White to be no Member of our religious Society untill by a circumspect life and conversation he comes to be reconciled again which is our desires for him.
