on a farm one mile south of Farmersville, Montgomery County. Here he
conducted a flour and saw mill on the banks of Twin Creek. Four of the
children settled on adjoining farms near Warnock, Belmont County, Ohio,
namely, Mary Ann Keefer (See B), Elizabeth Stonebraker (See C), Adam
Aultfather (See G), and Jacob Altfather (See 11). The four farms on
which they lived included something more than 800 acres. Magdalena
Schaff ( See D) settled near Etna, Licking County, Ohio."

church at Farmersville, Ohio. Henry and Catharine Oldfather were the
parents of eleven children. John (I, page 9) lived and died on the old
home farm south of Farmersville, Ohio. Henry (II page 20) must have died
in infancy. The only knowledge we have of him is recorded on the back of
the old birth certificate already quoted (See Friedrich Altvater's
Notes). There is nothing said of him except the name and date of
birth. Magdalena Isley (III page 21) lived near Edinburg, Indiana;
Elizabeth Siler (IV page 40), near St. Paul, Indiana; Fredrick (V page
49), four miles south of Farmersville, Ohio; Samuel (VI page 54), near
Farmersville, Ohio; Peter (VII page 62), near Lewisburg, Ohio; Eva
Kyger (VIII page 68), near Frankfort, Indiana; Jonathan (IX page 75),
in Knox County, Missouri, and Solomon (X page 85) and Adam (XI page 86),
near Warsaw, Indiana."1
